🪀 NYC Summer Kendama Cup 2026 👶

Kendama is a traditional Japanese wooden toy — part skill game, part sport. The Kendama Cup at Japan Village is a great chance to see it played at a high level.

→ 江戸時代から続く伝統工芸、木目込み人形。今回のモチーフは金魚。経験不要、2時間で完成した作品を持ち帰れます。これは、子供は参加できないけれど、作った作品を家に持ち帰ったら説明してあげることができるかも。
Kimekomi is a centuries-old Japanese craft — pressing fabric into a sculpted form to create a decorative figure. This session's motif is a goldfish. No experience needed, take home your finished piece.
